When you find out about something new that really tickles you, don't you just want to tell everyone? Well I certainly do and I can get very excited about it to.
I love finding out about new things, like today for instance, I bought a GROUPON, 2 in fact. Has anyone heard of GROUPON. It is a website that promotes deals for businesses, to help them promote their business. I think it is a fabulous idea and some of the deals are awesome. Go to http://www.groupon.com/ and check it out. You can pick deals from various cities across canada. You can subscribe to get the DEAL OF THE DAY via email and never miss a thing. You can also refer people to this site and be rewarded with 10 dollars in groupon money every time someone you refer buys a groupon. IS THAT GREAT OR WHAT!!
I would say in my opinion that the deals are worth it. All deals that I have seen so far have been discounted 50% or more. So today I bought a deal from Saskatoon; pay $5.00 dollars for $10.00 worth of soups, sandwiches, breads or more at the Earthbound Bakery and Delicatessen. I bought one for my son who lives in Saskatoon and one for me. Easy. Pay with credit card and the deals are then able to be printed right from your groupon account usually within a couple of hours.
I had actually emailed Groupon to ask if any business could do this and if a business from an outlying community could do this and they replied that they can put groupons for any area. They will actually help you set up the deals etc.
Do make sure you read the rules for that particular deal, as I have seen some where you have to pick up the deal from the business.
So I am going to get my coupon and see how this works. Will keep you posted!!

Day 2
Hello, Day 2 of my new adventure.
Definately green here. Not sure what I should do now. I thought everyone would be able to see my blog, but I guess you have to sign in to google first.(which is not a big deal).
Can anyone out there give me some hints on the rules of blogging? How do I put the blogger symbol on my facebook and my other facebook page? How do you get people to follow you? Hints, tips thanks!!
There is one thing I would like to say: Yahhh Canada! I love Canada.
Did you know that everything we buy is in essence a vote in support of that product. If we buy most of our food from other countries we are supporting those countries and the more they bring in. The more we buy canadian the more we show the government, food producers etc that we want what canada has to offer, not other countries. Let's do our part and support our own!

WELCOME AND INTRODUCTION
IS THIS GOING TO BE FUN OR WHAT!!! WOOOHOOO!!!
GUESS WHAT THE BEST THING I EVER DID WAS? I STEPPED OVER MY COMFORT ZONE AND LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID. (I highly recommend you give it a try.)
MY WHOLE WORLD HAS OPENED UP AND I FOUND SKILLS I DIDN'T KNOW THAT I HAD, IT BROUGHT ME OUT OF MY SHELL, I FOUND NEW LIKES AND CONQUERED SOME FEARS. (not all yet, but working on them.). I tell my children, life is a learning adventure. You just never know what it will bring. As long as you mind is open and your looking forward you will learn something.
Apparently, life has brought me to blogging!!
I really do not have a theme to my blog yet, so as I experiment with this, you will get a mish mash of everything. I love to promote things so you will see a lot of that. If I think I have an interesting piece of info you will hear about it. I will do some reviews on things I have tried and I will also be doing some selling of products I have left from some home based businesses I was/am involved with. There might be some fundraising going on here and maybe a giveaway or two, and yes of course some of my families adventures as well.
So come visit me often, you never know what you might find on here as I continue on my learning adventure!!!
