CARD STYLES... HOME OF THE MOMMY CARD!!

I always get excited when I find something that is unique, so today I am going to tell you about my wonderful friend, a stay-at-home mom and budding mompreneur who has started her own Business Card company.   The company is called Card Styles  http://www.cardstyles.org/ home to the one-of-a-kind MOMMY CARD.

So what is a Mommy Card?
A Mommy Card is......a business card for moms.    Simple as that!
Below is her statement on what a Mommy Card is:

Whether you are a stay-at-home, or a career mom, our Mommy Cards make things simple and easy when you meet someone new.

You're at the park, met a new mom, found you had a lot in common and your kids are playing well.  It's time to leave but you want to exchange phone numbers, maybe to set up a future play dates, or grab a coffee while the kids are in school, only you find yourself without pen or paper.  If you are a parent I'm guessing you have been in this situation, whether it was at the park, playschool, or gym, we've all found ourselves scrambling for that elusive pen and paper.

Our Mommy Cards make things simple.  Just grab a card from your purse or diaper bag; it doesn't get much easier than that.  And our unique, one-of-a-kind designs will make your meeting all the more memorable.  Your Mommy Card will not be tossed away and forgotten.

Our Mommy Card images are rendered in a 3D program and composed in Photoshop.  You will not find any of these Mommy Card designs anywhere else on the internet.

Make a lasting impression on those you meet with one-of-a-kind Mommy Cards.

As she is quite talented, her website has and will carry many more designs, not only for the Mommy Card but also other businesses and any type of card you want.  (She is designing me a card with my blog and facebook addresses on it with no human images, can't wait).

It is my pleasure to introduce and promote her new product at The Babies and Bellies Extravaganza this weekend.

There are 3 options to order on line from her website:
1.  Order just the design for $19.95 and she will email you the design so that you can print as many or less as you want for yourself.

2.  Order 100 cards for $39.95.  She will have them made to your design and specifications and shipped to you, ready to go.

3.  Order 250 cards for $44.95.  Again she will have them made to your specifications and design
and shipped to you ready to go.

She can also do custom orders if you have a design in mind.

Congratulations and continued success on your new venture!!!

Till the next time,  Ange.

PINKFIREDESIGNS

Good evening everyone,
I cannot tell you how excited I am!!!  I received a beautiful necklace in the mail the other day from a very talented, stay-at-home mom who designs her own pieces.   Her name is Keri White and she is a jewelry designer with a passion for gemstones, vintage finds, exotic woods, metal and any other materials that she can get her hands on!   Her business is called PINKFIRE DESIGNS.   Absolutely fabulous!!!!

I had only seen a picture of the necklace, so when I opened the package, I was more than pleasantly surprised to reveal the most unique, interesting and well made piece of jewellery I had ever seen!  The necklace was long and made with an array of  metal chain and wire of different shapes and sizes,   mixed with beads.  As it was made for a valentines day giveaway, there was a valentines day theme to it with 3 completely different heart shapes hanging in different areas on the necklace,  mixed with red and clear beads and other dangly shapes. By the look of the chain a person would expect it to be heavy, but it is very light.   It is feminine enough for those of us who like to look pretty and just casual enough for those who want to be individual and funky.
What makes this so much more enjoyable to me is that she is Canadian, Swift Current Saskatchewan to be exact. Buying canadian is where it's at especially from a stay-at-home mom!! I also believe she is aiding in the enviornmental cause, because she is  incorporating materials and vintage pieces that she finds, into her designs.  She is using more vintage pieces lately because of the unique shapes and detail in them.  Plus, she says, it is fun hunting for something unique and rare to create a modern piece out of it.
She got started like other people, doing this work as a hobby.  She always thought it would be fun to design something. As people noticed her hobby, she started getting requests and from there she thought that maybe she could make a little extra to stay at home with her children.   From her little hobby, she started selling on Etsy and now has her pieces in various stores in Saskatchewan and most recently in BC.
I'm so glad I came across this young WAHM (work-at-home mom) so that I could tell all of you about her and not to mention that I have already picked out another one of her creations.
Go to facebook and google her page  pinkfiredesigns  and when your there comment that Especially for you-Reviews and News sent you.    She has also started a website at http://www.pinkfiredesigns.ca/.

Have a good sleep everyone.  Until next time.    Ange.
